Barrierefreiheitserklärung

Zuletzt aktualisiert: December 2024

We strive to make our website and digital products accessible in accordance with the Accessibility Act (BaFG) in its current version.

This accessibility statement applies to the digital solutions of Signteq GmbH in the area of customer identification and electronic signature.

This includes in particular:

  • the Smart Ident web application for digital identification (KYC),
  • the signature solution as well as
  • the signature platform for managing and conducting signature processes.

The mentioned applications are provided both as standalone web applications and as integrated components in third-party platforms (e.g. customer portals, form processes or embedded widgets). This statement applies regardless of the specific technical delivery method or URL used.

Accessibility Requirements

We follow the requirements of EN 301 549 (European standard on accessibility requirements for information and communication technology). We also consider the requirements of the Internet standards organization "World Wide Web Consortium" (abbreviated W3C). These requirements ("Guidelines for accessible web content") are also known under the English name "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines" or WCAG for short. We follow the WCAG 2.2 requirements with conformance level AA.

State of Compliance with Requirements

Our website and digital products are partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, conformance level AA, due to the incompatibilities and exceptions listed below.

Non-Accessible Content

The content listed below is not fully accessible:

  • Individual controls and components are currently not fully accessible via keyboard.
  • ARIA roles or semantic HTML markup are missing in certain areas.
  • PDF documents that are uploaded, signed or processed as part of signature processes usually come from external users or third-party systems. Signteq GmbH has no influence on their structure, formatting or accessibility.
  • When using the Smart Ident application, accessibility may be limited when switching from desktop to a mobile device (e.g. via QR code scan).
  • Liveness detection and automated analysis of identity documents (face scan and document scan) is performed using external camera technology. These functions are currently not fully compatible with assistive technologies (e.g. screen readers).

Justification:

Some components are based on third-party technologies or security requirements whose accessible design cannot be fully influenced. We are continuously working on technical and conceptual improvements.

Creation of this Statement

This statement was created on June 3, 2025.

The website was evaluated in the form of an external accessibility audit according to WCAG 2.2 conformance level AA.
